Asian?

Hey all,

Just wondering how many people here are from an Asian background but live in a western country? Do you ever get any attention in public because you're in a minority?

I recently went to a naturist retreat (had a really great time - looking forward to going back before the weather turns cold!) and thought it was funny when the owner saw me at reception and said to me, "What took you so long to come back!?". It was nine years since I was last there, we didn't introduce ourselves back then, she just knew me from appearance! I'm guessing it's an unusual sight to see a Chinese guy there. I was born and raised in Australia though and as far as I care I only look Asian! It's never been an issue for me in a nudist environment but I thought I'd raise the topic.

Those are some great tattoos. I once saw a man at Orient Beach who had a full body tattoo and it cause folks to really look at him.

Hey, my parents are from pakistan (in asia) and i live in the netherlands.
Sometimes people come up and talk, because they are surprised to see a muslim practise nudism.

Hello again nudist nl. I can understand what you mean about people approaching you to talk being you are a Muslim practicing nudism. This is because most would probably equate the Muslim faith as being extremely conservative and adamantly against the nudist concept.

yes i know many muslims are extremely conservative, but i grew up in holland.
And i believe in freedom and am happy to do what ever i want :surprised:
