Does anybody know where, and when, this picture was taken?

Isn't there a branch of archeology that deals with nudists? I think most nudist photos can be dated from either hairstyles or cars. Also, photo resolution and color dynamic range will date a photo. From the hair, coarse film grain and limited color depth I would say mid-70's.

VERY old is all relative, isn't it? "Old" pictures to me mean ones that are 1960s, 50s or before. "Old" pictures to others here are pre-1950s, the '40s and before WWII...so be careful how you define "old". We're not all 20-somethings on this website.

It was taken at Cap d'Adge in the 1970's. There are other pictures of these young people in the picture section.

There are may pictures taken at Cap d'Agde. Check the France and members section of the photos. How they were taken is another question.

Well...the pics are from "Jeunes et Naturelles", aka "Jung und Frei", a periodical that featured predominantly nudist teens and kids. It must have been the early eighties, since I remember running into the magazine as a teen in France. If "Jeunes et naturelles" existed today, it would be called "Russianbares" (you get my drift).
Now...the pictures were excellent and featured a Cap D'Agde as it existed back then: full of active nudist families. As a kid, the pictures fascinated and inspired me. But a mag that featured almost exclusively teens and pre-teens...yeouch.shocked

It actually looks like the kind of pics that were typically found in H&E back in the early 80's, when I was discovering that there were actually quite a lot of people who enjoyed getting around without any clothes on - contrary to my small-town upbringing.
