In the previous thread I started on this subject somebody suggested I try it and report back, well I've walked on my treadmill the past 2 mornings wearing nothing but socks and shoes and it is very comfortable. I have no problem walking at the speed that I always exercise at, and of course this is going to save on getting a pair of shorts sweaty. I intend to continue treadmilling in the nude as much as possible, which aside from this coming Friday and Monday when my mom will be home means I'll be doing it 5 days a week between now and June when my mom starts her almost 3 month summer vacation from the school district where she works.

You will be trotting, jogging, then running in the nude on that treadmill in no time. It will feel really good to get a good sweat going and feeling the moisture travel down your body without hinderance and feeling as free as can be.

I've been treadmilling nude for a while now. I started when my old club had access to a gym for our monthly gettogethers. The runs on the maching at the club got me wanting to keep up my running for more daily runs so I wound up purchasing my own treadmill. You have to keep at it or the treadmill will turn into another clothes hanger :-) even if it isn't that much time initially, I found that just getting into the habit of a short run was enough to start me on a good habit. The plus is that running nude on the treadmill in my home has the added benefit of keeping me out of jail and I feel healthier too!

I don't have a treadmill but I do have Nordic track and I use it nude I also prefer to hike nude and had the opertunity to do so the other day. I think the real benefits are more noticeable when out in nature you can feel the sun wind more easily on your skin and feel in tune to the natural environment. Don't get me wrong I love to exercise nude and if a teadmill or a Nordic Track is the best we can do well so be it.

That's my goal is to be able to get outside nude, hopefully sooner rather than later, but I don't know when I'll have the opportunity.

TX, I'm with you. I'm on the treadmill 4-5 times a week. The only thing I ever wear are shoes and socks. I walk at first, and then ramp it up to where I'm jogging, then cool down. About half way through the cool-down, I ditch the shoes and socks and do the rest barefoot. Most of the time the routine takes about 50 minutes. It's a great work out. I stretch a good bit before and after, and then do a series of Ab work, broken up with weights.

All of that together with some carefully planned eating habits have allowed me to drop about 17 pounds since the new year.

I love working out in the nude!

I agree that treadmilling in the nude is much more comfortable during a long workout. I only use the treadmill during the winter months. The treadmill is in the basement and the temperature is a bit too warm for a workout. When you start sweating you do not have any clothes sticking to you.

I can't wait for warmer temperatures and to be able to go outside. We have a naturist resort that is not too far with great walking trails. Looking forward to putting away the treadmill for the summer.

TX, don't forget that several of the Texas resorts host a series of clothing optional 5k races. Day fees are significantly reduced and it's a great way to get out, exercise, and meet folks. You'll have to check the website of the club nearest you to find out when theirs is.

BlueBonnet is a very friendly place. When I visited they had potluck dinners on Saturday evenings nice chance to socialize. Can be pretty quiet call and ask if there are any events going on.

The treadmill was given to us about the start of summer. Getting to hot to walk outside so the treadmill was appreciated. Stil had the a/c off so the clothes came off fairly quickly also. Do a 30 minute walk @ 3.5 mph 3 days a week and attempt 20 minutes the other 2.
