Yes , HAPPY EASTER HOLIDAYS to you all. I don't think there will be many nude bunnies around here this easter - NSW Australia, it's cloudy and cool here now and looks fairly bleak :mad::lightingzapA::lightingzapA: for the rest of the weekend. If the sun comes out it would be about 80F , and the clothes would come off - we can only hope for the best.:vacation:

Yes, happy first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is how the date of Easter is determined -- what does that have to do with the bible?!), and enjoy this millennia-old celebration of the pagan rites of Spring, named after the pagan goddess Aester (or Oester, or a half-dozen other variant spellings).

In any case, it has nothing to do with any recent Christian boy-god resurrection myths, since the word Easter isn't mentioned anywhere in the Bible, the four Gospel writers differ tremendously on the events of the three-day weekend, and the whole bunny-egg-spring thing is completely pagan and non-Christian start to finish. But of course believers in Jeebus won't know any of that or the real problems with their myths, since very few of them actually read or know much about their bible.
