Adam Lambert Isn't the Only One Who Can Impress Simon Cowell.

There's a saying my grand mother use to say never never judge a book by its cover look at the audience and the judges faces they were just waiting for her to fail she sang beautiful made the hair stand up on my arms she said she was going to rock and she did more than that.

(April 14) - Move over, Adam Lambert. There's someone else who Simon Cowell likes.
Susan Boyle, a 47-year-old contestant on 'Britain's Got Talent,' unexpectedly wowed Cowell and the other two judges, including Simon-like Brit Piers Morgan, with her rendition of 'I Dreamed a Dream' from 'Les Miserables

How ironic! I was just watching Susan Boyle on YouTube. Holy cow! She is awesome! What a perfect song too!

I love Adam Lambert and the guy with the glasses whose wife died. The two women who are left on American Idol are good too, though Lil Rounds has chosen some songs that do not suit her.

I think we will be seeing mor of Susan Boyle!

I had just posted a video of the first BGT winner - Paul Potts - in another thread a day before Susan's video went viral. Similar story - totally unlikely looking fellow - a pudgy, cross eyed, crooked toothed mobile phone salesman from Wales - who announced he wanted to "sing opera". You could see the judges expectation of the horror to come until he began singing, then the jaws dropped and the audience went wild. Very similar to the reaction to Susan Boyle. I have a feeling someone is going to engineer a Paul Potts/Susan Boyle duet in the near future ...
