View Full Version : Leaving the house on weekends!
Enjoying life

On the weekends I find myself not wanting to leave the house because I don't want to put cloths on. If I have to do any running around I'll wait to do it during the week. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Yes unless the weather is nice. I am doing that right now NIFOC. But if it was sunny and 70 F or warmer I would head out to the local nude beach. When the weather is nice I just can't stand to be inside.

Me also, if the weather's nice I find myself giving up sleep, I'm a third shifter, just to be outside, so in the winter months, it is a little easier for me to at least get needed rest or least stay nude in the house and not get out working outside or enjoying the outdoors.

Our weekends get split in so many different ways that I do at times get frustrated and find I don't want to leave the house because I have to put on clothes.
Family functions, errands, non nudist visitors and an ocassional textile outting http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif do interfer with our nude time but we do a pretty good job of balancing our nude time with our textile time during the weekends. Today, we are nude inside cuz it's raining here in So. Cal. Later tonight, we'll have our daughter, son in law and grandkids over and spending the night, so it'll be a clothed evening.
Tomorrow, they all leave for another commitment and we will be nude until we leave for a weeks vacation were we will mix nudity and textile outtings.

The weekend is almost here and I want to stay home and stay naked, however, I have to work on Saturday. So much for that plan.

I guess I can handel being dressed if I need to go somewhere any day of the week. But it sure would be nice if I could go to Super Wall Mart without geting dressed.

I like getting dressed Fri. to spend weekend nude at the resort. There, I can visit, or have friends visit, and never get dressed. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif

I have put a lot of time and money into my house and yard to make it comfortable where it can be enjoyed however we like to--nude or otherwise. I enjoy going places, but it is not really necessary for me to do so. I am nude always at home and in my yard, so no big deal to have to go anywhere.

Weekend? What's that???
It appears to me that my week never ends. I go to work everyday until I get one of those magical days off. It sometimes falls on a "weekend", sometimes in the middle of the week, and often never happens at all. Weekends are for rich people who don't pay taxes.

Just yesterday, I was out walking the dogs in the mountains behind the town I live in. It's winter here in Montana...cold, cold. I'm thinking to myself, I could go sun bathe there and there and there. I'm so tired of the cold. I'm nude all the time in the house, but you talk about nudist cabin fever.....UGHHHHH
Peace

Same here, Nudist Cabin Fever, NCF as it is known officially. Here in London as many other colder places too it sets in quite early after summer sun disappears and only starts to fade when the places starts to warm up enough when you can go nude with out the heating. Still, nude is better than most things anyway.

Cabin Fever is a real b*tch at times. Although I am able to get out nude most days, I have been there - done that. One of the things that seemed to help me was closeing my eyes and daydreaming for about 15 minutes of being on the beach. It's a small thing but always helped my mood immensely. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/beam.gif

It is my opinion, how you perceive it is your choice. In our country, the government has gone so spend crazy that the average person cannot sustain themselves at the wages which are paid. Often people are forced to take on two and perhaps three jobs. That is, of course unless they have a job which is highly paid due to it being dangerous (such as CEOs, Baseball Players, and Government officials). If our government would stop sending money to other countries to pay for nationalized health care, and stop wasting money by fighting unneeded wars, we would be much better off financially, and pehaps even find ourselves having a "weekend" off once in a while.
As for the inflammatory nature of my statement, I believe that any statement to which a person disagrees can be deemed inflammatory by that person. However, we live in the United States of America where even the Patriot Act has not been able to fully supress the freedom of speech. Eventually, we will lose all of our freedoms, but until that happens, I will continue to express myself as I choose.

I do. I find myself going out less and less on the weekends, for this and other reasons. If I do have to run errands on the weekend, I do it as early in the morning as possible, so as not to break up my "nude day".
I did manage to get myself out last night to celebrate my upcoming birthday with one of my favorite local bands, and this afternoon will celebrate with my family at my parents' house (clothed).

About having to have three jobs, just to make it: Consider the standard of living now, and when we(58yr old) were kids. Very few had two cars, phones in every room, same for t.v.s computers, etc etc etc. So these days families must have two or more jobs, just to pay for the junk they think they need, Not, just to get by. I saved my allowance of 35 cents a week, til i had $6.10 saved for our summer vacation to
Colorado. And we went, family of seven, in a non_aircondioned car, stayed in cabins, cause they were cheaper, and I was responsible for buying any trinkets I wanted. Believe me, one made much more careful selections when one earned and saved the money themselves. My kids today live in homes that cost $1500 a month for rent, drive two new vehicles and go, go, go. And then they say times are tough!!Some even making upwards of 75k a year, three times what Mom and I have ever made. They buy every new movie that comes out, to the tune of $29.95 instead of waiting 6 months and seeing it on t.v. for free! Im rambling, but maybe someone gets my point! tks p.s. I also had a steady job, from the summer after seventh grade, until i graduated from high school, as did my siblings. And that was with a father making 28 to 33k a year, much more than the average income for the time. So, I dont think people have it "tougher" these days, they are just not as "tough".

I find myself away from home almost every weekend and rarely is it because I'm off doing some fun nudist activity. Usually, I am at my parents' house doing laundry or just hanging out in Austin because San Marcos can be quite a bore. I'm going to try to stay home more often or at least around town on weekends. I just need to find some good things to do, places to go and people to do it all with.
Show Me Naked
01-30-2006, 03:06 PM
I have planned entire weekends around being naked. I plan it during the week and get all of my chores done so that I can get naked on Friday night and get dressed on Monday morning for work. I can't do it all of the time, but in the dead of winter when the weather sucks, it is the perfect time to be naked for a long period of time.
