Greetings,

I would like to know if there are family oriented clubs and resorts on the East Coast that hire or be interested in having a Massage Therapist to work at their place. I am about to start school in this area and although the program is a year long to complete with the warmer weather upon us I thought it would be good to start making contacts now so that perhaps my family and myself could visit the club and see wether it would be a nice place to set up shop and perhaps live once school has been completed come May of next year.

Just a note I currently reside in New Jersey but as mentioned would be willing to relocate to the right place.

Looking forward to reponces.

Oh sure. Lots of places. Probably your best advice would be to go to www.AANR.com and find what clubs are closet to your area. Then contact them directly.

Goodlands Country Club in Hackettstown offers such services. I don't know what arrangements they have with the current provider, but you could ask.

I have heard that Goodlands Country Club is mostly an adults club of emptynesters or couples without kids. This is not by rule but just by the attendance of those that mostly go there. Has this changed to and families have been attending there on a regular basis. As my wife and I have four kids ages from 7 to 16 years old we would perfer to be apart of a club with kids already in attendance. Any feedback on this?

The last time we were there, there were several children aged from two to about twelve. They and their parents seemed to be having a wonderful time. We're not members, so I can't say for sure what the weekly average of youngsters might be, but it didn't appear to be a problem for anyone. By the way, these children represented several families, so it might be worth checking out.
