Pictured is a simple field shower for naturist and nudist for camping at the resort or wherever there is a water connection.

It's unknown if the pictured is store bought or home made.

Great idea.
Just wondering if there is hot and cold water?

I guess if home made you could put a hot cold manifold connection and use one or both if available.

I have never seen hot water taps at nudist resorts.

Some of the RV coaches have outside showers with hot and cold valves.

Coleman makes a very portable hot water heater powered by the small Bar-B-Que type propane canister. I won one at a crab feed prize drawing.

There are a number of versions of solar water heaters that get water VERY hot. I always carry mine when I go camping. The one I have folds flat when empty, but turns into a cube shape when filled with water. Just set it in the sun on the hood or roof of your vehicle and voila a couple of hours later, hot water.

The resort we have gone to, has showers heads, in the open, along the fence at the tennis courts. We always camp there. There are rolls of hose, in the sun. The water gets very warm in the hose. So, I've used those showers many times after playing tennis. Perhaps a roll of hose would heat up the water.

We have a unit much like pictured at the beginning of this thread. It was $40 or so at Target; teak base. It's out on the patio overlooking the river valley. We've laid 150 to 200 feet of dark hose on the roof to feed it "hot" water on any sunny day. Getting warm enough to shower outside is the sure sign of summer.

I've seen places that had cloths washers with water heaters, although the one I was at had a shower in the same little hut with the washer & dryer.

As the thread title says a simple "Field Shower" for nudists & naturists

That means away from Standard fixtures and facilities, shower areas, washer/dryers at resorts or clubs.

The resorts I frequent have 4-6 indoors and outdoor showers and bathrooms, and all wet areas have bathrooms and showers.

Camping around the lakes can be as far as half mile or further away from facilities.

The purpose of the thread was to address a simple Field Shower in camping, RV and tenting areas away from the main facilities.

I cannot recall ever seeing a hot water tap at a nudist facility -- BUT -- I have never been to a nudist park that didn't have hot showers available.

In fact, I believe it's a requirement -- for any nudist park to maintain AANR affiliation -- to have them.
