In my local newspaper there is a reprint from an article from the Washington Post which , in a roundabout way, promotes nudity.
It states that the current levels of intake of vitimin D are understimated and that traditional intakes of food rich in vitamin D are not sufficient to meet actual needs.
Cod liver oil and fatty fish need to be taken in large amounts in order to meet the new increased demands of a healty body needs for vitamin D.
But, for us, the easiest way to take in Vitamin D is to strip off and get out in the sun.
The older and the heavier and the paler you are, the more you need vitamin D.
Over the years I have given up explaining to textiles why I like to be naked, now I can give a coherent reason.
It takes a long and slow road to get naturism accepted as a mainstream activity and this is one of them: a clear benefit to well being, just as much as other ways to better health.
