Hello everyone. I apologize that I was not on the forum last night, but I was recuperating from exhaustion due to an overly hectic work schedule yesterday. Anyway, I would like to wish everyone here a safe and Happy Memorial Day weekend and holiday. Also, let us not forget the real purpose of the day and take a few moments to remember those veterans who have given the ultimate sacrifice in defending our freedom. This should include both past and present servicemen and women. Enjoy!

I would like to echo Ken's message. We are able to have our freedom today because of the Service Men and Women that have given the ultimate sacrifice. We all should take time to remember them and bless their families. We should also pray for peace as a way to lose fewer service personnel in the future.
GOD bless America!

Thanks Ken, and the same to you as well. I wish everyone else takes some time out to remember the true meaning of the holiday, but I believe most people only celebrate the extra day off from work, rather than take note of our Veterans. BTW, how many of you out there are going to celebrate the long weekend in the nude? Some here, but I plan on having a BBQ on Sunday, so there will definately be non-nudists over. That's okay, there's still Monday.:smoking:

I also think it is important to pause and thank those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Also a big thanks for all servicemembers and vets who keep all of us safe. Please also think about the gold star families and loved ones who have been left behind. I think we owe them something as well.
