In late March, I visited Little Desert National Park in Victoria, Australia. I arrived at teh main campground on a warm sunny day temp. of 30 Deg C. The cg was huge, must have been about 30 acres, with toilets, and picnic tables. Got there 11 am, no one was there. Left to shop in Nhill and returned at 1 pm. No one there. I figured if no one was there by 2 pm, I could have a nude holiday. So I left all my clothes in my camper, and went on a long bushwalk naked. I walked a few kilos and then returned. The flies were awful, they swarmed around my face, even with insect repellant.

I returned from the first bushwalk, then went on a second one, that was a bit shorter. Still no one around. Now it was 5 pm. So I cooked myself a wonderful meal, which I had to eat in the van due to the flies. Then I walked a full circuit around the cg.

After the 3rd walk, I opened all the doors on the van, turned the stereo up, and put on the 2nd disc of Hot August Night. Pretended I was singing to 18000 people naked. By then, the flies had all gone to sleep. And then found out my voice is not as strong as it was 20 years ago. Bummer, but no music critics were present. By the time I finished singing it was dark. So I read a book, went to sleep. Woke up at midnight, and lay outside naked on the picnic table for 30 minutes and stared at the most wonderful nighttime sky I have ever seen. So many stars.

So I spent from 2pm to 10 am next morning with no clothes on. And no people around. So wonderful. The night was warm, I had all the van windows open; they had flyscreens. Best of all, the lodging was free. I didn't put any clothing back on till I had got 100 km outside the park next morning.

The pic gives an idea of the size of this cg.
