here in SoCal, trying to get into my first home. haven't decided if its going to be a condo/townhouse/home haven't made final decision.

is there anything as a nudist friendly realtor that will help u find the right place, maybe a neighborhood or complex area that is nudist friendly and open minded and possibly the tenants r nudists too.

I'm just wondering btw, it just came to mind as i met with an agent yesterday and i said the main important thing in a home for me is privacy.

If you want a home with nudist rated privacy, don't give the realtor the vague 'private' surroundings. Be upfront and tell him exactly what you want. Will save a lot of time for both parties. Never mind if he gets a strange look on his face. It is your money and he will be working for you. Give him the information he needs to find you what you 'really' want.
Nudist friendly realtors are out there and they know the properties for those 'special' requests.

I think it depends on the area. Where you are in Cal., it may be easier to find one than in say Arkansas, or Mississippi where people have different values. There used to be a couple on one of the sites once in a while but I haven't seen them lately.

Wish a nudist would by the house next door to me in Oklahoma that's for sale. My yard is pretty private but that house is a potential problem!

It's too bad you're not in Arizona.... we're house-hunting in the Phoenix area and one of our requirements is a "nudist friendly" back yard. Since we have a great relationship with her, we were up front about why we needed "privacy" and she has no problem with it, in fact she thinks it's a neat idea.....

Hello Gordon. The only problem I would forsee about telling a realtor I want a nudist friendly home is what he or she will thing what kind of person or "nut" you are. Maybe I am sounding a little paranoid, but I just know how people are. I too live in Southern Cal., and I wouldn't dare tell any of my neighbors that I am a nudist. They would probably never let me speak to or be near their children again! Also, exactly how would you go about finding a "nudist friendly" realtor to begin with?

yitfs, I happened to be talking to a friend today (in Chicago) who is a real estate agent so asked your question and she said that she quite often gets that kind of requirement (as in "backyard private enough for naked hottubbing", or "sunbathing nude", or "gardening in the buff" etc). So it sounds like you are not alone. Then I remembered that friends near LA actually found their agent by calling around to local naturist clubs to ask whether any of the members were real estate agents or could recommend agents? Sure enough, one of the members was a realtor who evidently really enjoyed working hard to find them a perfect place.

Christine, there used to be a member on these forums from the Phoenix area who was in the real estate business, and he specifically catered to nudists. Hope you find what you are looking for.

I also agree in that there should be some members at certain nudist resorts who are in the real estate business as well. Chances are, you will be able to find such a person to help look for 'nudist friendly' homes with private backyards. Lots of luck to the both of you.:smoking:
