Hiking in Anza Borrego State Park California in mid May.Its a friday an temperature at 98,at 1 in the afternoon,i left the parking lot only one other car there so soon i began to bare hike my way up the trail called palm canyon. I have hiked this trail a few times over the years bare when i could but not on a week day. I carried plenty of water an just needed to get away by myself an let my skin an brain breathe. Its hot well over a hundred as i hike up the canyon,i continue on after a few miles i find the stream is still running cool clear spring water, what a joy. Small pools of water are scattered along the stream,i come to a large boulder overhanging a pool, giving some cover from the hot sun .Off comes the backpack an the boots for a cool swim all along thinking this cant get any better, Out of the corner of my eye i catch movement, its a bighorn sheep a large ram just around the side of the boulder from my pool.I am completely nude,i stayed very quiet an relaxed, the ram looks right at me,he is 10 feet from me,soon more sheep showup to drink the cool spring water,i counted almost 30 of them they moved slowly by grazing on vegetation an drinking water .I was amaised they just excepted me nude an tanned sharing a natural resource. It must have been this way in the garden of eden,i will not forget this bare hike, one of a lifetime. Cool report.

I did some freehiking myself today in the woods near my home. I found a den of coyote pups on my hike. There were 4 of them just rolling and playing. They didn't even see me until I moved on past and then they were very curious hiding and peeking as if to say, "what the??"
