I was on my way home from work and thought it would be nice if we could find a universal inside way to let each other know " Hey its okay Im a naturist too" an insignia sticker , nothing too blatant but just something so when I run up on a car I know that they are like minded and not just cause they might be scantily clad .Any thoughts?

I used to have an AANR sticker on my old car. Most people would not know that one. Also had a Naturist soiciety one. I am guessing people thought I like to commune with nature, so to speak. No one ever said anything. A "Party Naked" sticker maybe too obvious.

Carbuff; I have a TNS windsheild sticker on my truck. I know I've been "identified" at least a dozen times because of it. There's a lot more people than you know that are naturists as well. Rick

There are several old discussions about this, unfortunately many of the excellent images of existing and proposed logos are no longer working.

A T-shirt with the "banned" logo on it?!? An example of the banned logo is http://blog.lsc.edu/wave/files/2008/10/smoking_logo.jpg.

Naturist Mark, you have done a great job by pointing this question back towards the previous posts on the same subject! Well done!
I guess the most important part about ANY adopted symbol is in the adopting of it! Whatever symbol we choose, we just need to DO IT!
If it ends up that we need to have a "Guide to Nudist and Naturist Free Symbols", that's fine! So be it! But we do need to get some additional symbols recognized and begin changing the way people think about the otherwise ordinary houses they pass while travelling around our neighborhoods.
The American Flag is almost a universal symbol of freedom, patriotism, democracy, stands against tyranny and the "American Dream" in all of it incarnations. Similarly, the Naturist Flag may become a universal symbol with multiple yet related meanings, but only if we get it out there! Create it! Begin using it! Display it proudly!

If the year 2009 could be the beginning of the end of an era of shame, or the beginning of an era of Being Proud of Our Common Humanity (think 'Human Pride' like 'Gay Pride'), then that would be something to celebrate!
