Well, it looks like we have lost another film legend this week. Yesterday, actor Karl Malden passed away at the age of 97 at his home somewhere in Los Angeles of natural causes. Indeed, this has been a very difficult for Hollywood as I mentioned this past Monday. I used to watch his television series "The Streets of San Francisco" when I was in elementary school. R.I.P., Mr. Malden!

Did he take his American Express card with him when he departed?

Not another one gone. He was a good actor. I liked him in Patton. He was a very believable Gen. Bradley. He will be missed.

I thought he did a good job with the recurring role as George Costanza's Yankees boss on the Seinfeld show. He was also good opposite Marlon Brando in On the Waterfront.

I think I'd rather watch 35 year old reruns of Streets of San Fransisco for the next week or so instead of more 25 year old reruns of the Thriller music video... ;)

The Streets of San Francisco was also part of my youth. I only found out later that he starred in so many classic movies. RIP.
