I saw a story yesterday on the evening news about a man who stripped down completely on a flight somewhere in full view of the other passengers. He was told by flight attendants to redress and he refused. From there, he was restrained by either two officers or flight marshals,I think. The flight was then diverted to another airport to release the man to a holding facility and turned over to police. Afterwards, the plane continued on its original destination. Unfortunately, I can't remember what airline it was. I have read about flights where nudists practically were the majority of the passengers and were allowed to strip once reaching a certain altitude. It was in either a nudist publication or something advertising nudist vacations or something of the sort. But it was many years ago and I can't find it! Anyway, did anyone hear of the original story yesterday or at all? I don't know what he was thinking! Pretty bizarre to hear on the news while eating dinner!

Heard this on the news.....
"Wright told the FBI he is suffering from a bipolar disorder and had not taken his prescribed medication before leaving New York that morning, the criminal complaint said. Wright told the FBI he recalled nothing about the flight or his behavior, it said."

Interestingly, the news report I saw on TV never mentioned the fact that he attacked the flight attendant or the fact that the plane was already experiencing a medical emergency which is why they were diverting. I was wondering why a naked man would have diverted a plane to take an emergency landing.
Now we get the whole story. He had a mental disability that was not at the time being controlled by medicine and he was not the reason for the plane to be diverted.
It would be helpful for the news people to actually report the full story.
