Well, we have lost another legend in the world of television and news reporting. I remember watching him as a kid in the late 60's and throughout the seventies as well as when he retired in 1981 when I was in high school. He was one great journalist and one heck of a reporter and he will be missed dearly by people all over the world. Walter Cronkite was an elite member of the broadcasting community as he showed us how the job was done. They had a one hour special on him yesterday in place of the scheduled 60 Minutes, which is normally aired every Sunday evening out here in Southern Cal. I recorded it naturally. If they have any kind of a televised memorial or funeral service for him, I will record that right after the special I recorded on the same tape. R.I.P., Mr. Cronkite!
