I'm just wondering if Haulover Beach is always this full or if this was a part of the world skinny dipping record?

I can't even imagine being with that many people on the beach!!! Even when our C/O beaches in Oregon are crowded, they ain't nothing like this!

To my eye it seems as though the photo was taken with a long telephoto lens, which would make everything seem much closer together than they really were, and therefore the photo appears to show the beach much more crowded than it probably was. Here's an example of how a telephoto lens can make the objects in the photo appear to be on top of one another - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspective_distortion_(photography)

During Florida's busy season, Haulover Beach can see as many as 2000 to 3000 people a day on the weekends. They have had as many as 7000 on the beach in one day. A fantastic place to see and it is growing every year. People from all walks of life and from all over the world go to Miami and visit Haulover Beach.

Yeah, I think that was the world record day. I never seen it that crowded before personally.
The weekends do get a fairly large crowd, but not that many in the picture.
It is an awesome place to chill out and relax.
