I would love to make nudist friends in Montreal. I met a few people a couple of years ago and have since lost touch. I probably should have posted that at the start of the summer instead of the end, but oh well...

Hi Arnabas, have you checked out Nude Canadian (http://nudecanadian.com) ? There is at least one person in there from the Montreal area.

Good luck.

Nope, I never checked them out. I'll have to do so now. Thanks!

Arnabas, do you ever go to the activites that are organized by the FQN during the winter? It's a great way to meet people! :)

No... I am actually not familiar with them.

My experience has been limited to a couple of trips to La Pommerie and one small gathering at a spa with one woman and 3 other guys. That's about it. I am still therefore not all that experienced with social nudity. Or rather, the "social" part, since when I went to La Pommerie, I was alone (except for one time with my son) and had no one to talk to.

I'd be interested in learning more and maybe attending a few gatherings this winter if there are any. Is there anything going on in the fall?

Hi,

I know for a fact that there are a few Montrealers on this site as well as NudeCanadian and a few others. However, I can also say that we are not very active on any of the forums LOL.

YOu will be able to make lots of contacts by attending the FQN activities and mingling, such as the SPA in Varennes (that you mentioned that you already attended), and the winter activities at UQAM.

http://www.fqn.qc.ca/activites.htm This site will be updated within the next month or so to give the dates of the upcoming winter activities.

At UQAM, there is the pool, badminton, basketball, volleyball, track, exercise bikes, aquaform, water vollyball, tarzan rope for kids, climbing wall and a friendly atmosphere. Afterwards, a bunch usually gather at a nearby restaurant for a late supper and conversation.

Don't know if they will have it again this year, but there has been naturist bowling the past 2 years.

Some Montrealers also attend the activities of ONNO http://www.onno.ca/schedule.html

Hope this helps and maybe meet at one of these events.

Great. I will check those out.

The spa I went to wasn't Varennes, though (unless that is also the name of a hotel...) because it was in the basement of a hotel downtown. I believe it was near Guy, but I am not sure anymore, since it was a while ago.

Anyhow, I will check into the activites, but I assume they are mostly on the weekend and I work 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM both Saturday and Sunday every week.

It would be great to meet some people from here at one of the events.

Well if your spa was downtown in a basement, it wasn't FQN organised. THe FQN one is in Varennes and is a nordique spa outdoors.

And you are correct. Most activities do take place on saturday for UQAM and sundays for the SPA
