BBC Trust rejects full-frontal male nudity complaint (http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/oct/01/bbc-trust-male-nudity)
I doubt this would happen here in America. The show probably wouldn't even get made.

Definitely wouldn't happen here in America. I also don't think I would watch it. I have nothing against penes, but I really don't think I would wanna see an entire documentary about them.

Let' s see, parents could not have figured out that a show called "My Penis and Everyone Else's" would show actual penises at 9pm? And the complaintant figured the amount of time a show called "My Penis and Everyone Else's" would have been very little?
The complaint was right to have been dismissed. If this was in the US, technically, it may have been able to be shown.

There was nothing wrong with this show, I remember watching it at the time and watching the one which preceded it, 'My Penis and Me/I'. The first show was about a man with a very small penis and he went to speak to cosmetic surgeons to see to having it enlarged, and he talked to lots of people about it - including his father, who it turns out had a small penis too - and by the end of it he decided against surgery.
The follow-up show was about him approaching people to invite them to take a photo of their own penis and basically he got a lot of people to do this, and them hung them for a special gallery showing - which he invited each man to, plus others - and some men at the show who hadn't done photos before went into a booth with a polaroid camera and added their own shots to the wall. It was a good idea really, given how many men worry about their size. If they could all see that they're not much different to everyone else then perhaps they'd not worry so much.
