On a local tv news item last week it featured an interview with Pamela Anderson who was visiting here in New Zealand for some fashion awards. During the interview the shows host asked her about the clothes fashion awards , etc.In her reply she mentioned how while the clothes were nice she always cant wait till she gets home and can go nude. The host was chuckling and she went on to say 'dont laugh Mark... as im very serious'. She said how they all always prefer being nude around home and that Mark should give it a try so that he could see how good and natural it feels. It was interesting to hear how she visited Waiheke Island which has a popular nude beach. The weather wouldnt have been ideal for her to have enjoyed that.Anderson said how shes considering buying a house on the island to!

I remember a few years ago the paparazzi took pics of Pam and another woman in France topfree on the beach with her son. Of course many tried to make a big deal about Pam "parading" infront of her son topless and in a thong and how awful it was. Even though Pam has made a living off of the more sexual aspects of her body (Playboy, Baywatch) it sounds to me like she's got a really healthy attitude about nudity.

Pamela is an advocate for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), and wanted to design a clothing range using as many globally friendly fabrics as possible. That's part of the reason she was in New Zealand, because it is so green & beautiful. I was trying to find a link to see her new clothing designs, but there is too much junk on the Internet to sift through.

I wonder if people would feel about her being a nudist given some of the issues that she has already gone through. The paparazzi are not exactly above taking pictures whenever they feel like it and she would would not get the kind of privacy that one expects when they attend a nude beach.

Whenever PETA comes up, I always post this. They are a very bad, hypocritical group who kill lots of animals and help fund terrorist groups.

I'll save my PETA comments for a different thread. Regarding Pamela, I doubt she will be able to enjoy public nudism. Unfortunately, once our society "decides" to make someone a star, we don't let go. Plus the gossip rags want to make a profit so they hound the stars to get their photos.
