Will be visitting relatives on the DelMarVa peninsula and heard there is a CO beach at Assateague,VA. True or False? I did some research but the most recent info was 2004.

we went there in 03 or 04 i dont rember but we tried it and didnt have any problems there were a few other cpls there most wore suits to swim in and then stripped off to sun and they say if the rangers see you they will issue a ticket but i dont know if that is true or not . Just heard from someone with the Capitol Sun Club that Assateague is "risky" and to try Sandy Hook. That is a leeeetle north of where I'll be.
