View Full Version : Lights that don't go out.
Bart or whoever answers:
Many times when I get into the forum and click on a subject where the light is lit I find that it's the same one I read earlier. Why is it that after I read something and leave the forums and return later, the light is still lit even though there's nothing new posted. It's a little irritating to waste my time clicking on something I've read before when it says there's something new and there isn't.
I know this is a minor thing, and forgive me for my complaining, but little things irritate me more than big things.

I find this forums software diffucult to use, I like NetNudes message board software, i feel its user friendly and fosters two way comunication, and is easy to use. And has less distracting features that don't really do anything fir me...maybe i'm gettin old : (

Aw, you're not getting old. I am getting older too (48)! I like the simple, clean layout plus with many more easy to use options this forum offers.
I like the ability to see the two-way conversations in full all on the same page (as you see your comments in full above mine and the person before above yours).
ALSO!!
I will be added a very cool new easy feature in about a week that will allow users to post their photos right from their hard drive (as apposed to putting it on a server first). This will probably encourge more to post their photos since it will be even easier.
I will also offer the option to allow you to be notified when someone responds to your post, and much more. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
Please let me know how else I can improve these forums. Thanks!!

Jon-Marc: I hope our founder Corky answered your
question. When it comes to the technical stuff..
I step aside for him.
Actually, he mentioned nothing about my question. I don't suppose it's a serious matter. I was just curious as to why it does that.
I hate clicking on something that is lit up just to find I've already read it.
