why is it that all the avatars of people nude are shaved?

I guess it is probably not all but definetly most and all the ones I have seen. Seems kind of wiered.

Are smoothies more exhibitionist?
Are furries more uptight?

That is a very good question. I cannot speak for everyone but wife and I shave more for the comfort level and the fact of the feeling a cool breeze Lets you know you are truly nude. And to us there is no better feeling than being nude outdoors.

Could it be that those that are shaved are not only brave enough to shave and stand the constant ridicule, innuendo and labeling are JUST a bit braver at posting their picture for an avatar? http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/annoyed.gif

I don't shave, if I turned around you'd see. I don't bother trimming either.

By the way, good for you Gary - and you've got a foreskin!

I agree with you - it's too uncomfortable - but I, like you, would need to turn round to prove it. Tried shaving that area once and it was mighty itchy.

I would shave more often it I didn't have so much. I don't even comb my hair. Shaving is a chore, but it's Hygenic, and less sweaty, and less odorous. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
It's the way to go if you can make or have the time to take care of yourself.
I'm all for it. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif

I use to keep it shaved all the time, as well as much of my body. It just got tiresome and I didn't seem to have the time.

Besides, like Silverback, I need to keep all the hair I can.

Wow! Didn"t realize it would be so large!! Gary is there anyway of reducing size or should i delete it?

I have deleted the HUGE photo it was about the size of a 6 story building and nobody needs to be subjected to that!!! Suffice to say I am not shaven in my avatar and if you don't believe me use a magnifying glass!!!! lol

It is not a sign of a positive self image to recommend people use a magnifying glass to see anything in a man's pubic area

Fuzzy Nuts

I was away most of the morning. Your pictures size is fine in your 11:21 AM post.

It becomes a problem when they are larger or wider than the page width where everyone has to use scroll bars to see the full width or height of the picture.

As posted previously in the forums this link to a free download for an image viewer and resize program called IRfanView. Doug Pasco also in this listed posted an on line picture resize page.

Link to: Free Image Viewer/resize and Online picture resize page (http://clothesfreeforums.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/3400016152/m/8420041754?r=4620054754#4620054754)

Do you still want to change the size or leave it like it is?
.

Fuzzy Nuts
11-16-2006, 03:56 PM
Gary, Thanks I have already changed it thanks to some advice from tiger. When I first posted the photo it was huge and you had to scroll down to see it all. _ I described it as like a 6 story building. Of course all parts were big and tiger jokingly saw it and refered to my big left foot an obvious reference to another appendage.

Now I know how to make my photo smaller using
Adobe which I have had for years on my computer but never learned how to use it to reduce size til now.

Although I've changed my avatar for now, my old one showed me with nothing shaved other than my face (which is all I ever shave or trim). I guess I'm an all-natural hippie from the neck down :-)

fre2bnude

I don't even shave my face, so I suppose that I'm an all natural hippie all the way down, not that I have a lot of body hair, but what I have I leave alone.

I have never understood the appeal of shaving for men. It seems like a lot of work and the results sometimes look like a rubber chicken. If you do choose to shave, I recommend that you shave everything. It looks odd to have a hairy chest and legs but no pubic hair.

Is this related to the other topic "feminization of men"? Seems to me that teaching men to eschew our manly hair is feminizing men.

Your mileage may vary.
