We live on a small lake (4 miles x 0.5 miles) in eastern Ontario. I like to fish nude off our dock. However, this makes me pretty visible.
People across the lake can barely see that I'm nude with the naked eye, and can see me in detail with binoculars or spotting scope, which some people have for birdwatching.
Then there are people in power boats who speed by from time to time, always quite a distance away.
We've been here for two summers now. My practice has been: if anyone comes within a half-mile of me, I leave or cover up.
I go out fishing 3-4 times per day for about 15-30 minutes at a time, almost always just after sunrise, and then in the later morning, afternoon and early evening.
Works for me.
