I've been to Paradise Gardens too..never been to Sunbshower yet.Another place you might want to try is cedar trails near Peebles Ohio,,,I have met a few people from your area there when i have been thgere.It's a nice place with many nice people.It is listed on the AANR website.

I prefer Sunshower over Paradise G
ardens for the simple fact the pool at Sunshower is outdoor and the Paradise Garden pool is in a greehouse type building. BUT last week I called Sunshower to try to go for my first visit of the year and was told unaccompanied men are not allowed unless members of AANR. i asked about INA and the person at the other end seemd not sure what I was talking about

Can I recommend thinking of attending Volleyball Superbowl at White Thorn Lodge in PA (http://whitethornlodge.org/public/superbowl.html). The event is in September, but young people from all over your region go there.

I went a few years ago to root on some friends playing, and had a blast! There were over 1000 in attendance. I am certain you'll meet some nudists from your hometown!

Wow so many Buckeyes!!!!

I'm north of Columbus, I freehike at Alum Creek Res. during the week while everyone else is working. LOL

I also enjoy the Hocking Hills region. That is my favorite place in Ohio.

But.....I'm moving to Montana in Oct. Now there are 1000's of places there to hike....well, yea 1000's.

But I'll always be a Buckeye.

The buckeye is a nut, from a tree called a Buckeye tree.

Now we are not nut's but we call our college sports team here in Ohio, The Buckeyes.

So here in the states if your from Ohio, your a "Buckeye".

Also the nuts appear to look like the eyes of our local deer. The male is called a buck, the Indians called the nut Bucks eyes...Buckeyes

if you like to free-hike in the Hocking Hills,,you might like to try a nice but small nudist resort called "Bare Valley" just north of Logan,Ohio.They have a very nice in-ground pool that is heated and a very large hot-tub too! Also,they have many hiking trails and the camp is in the Wayne National Forrest.

Thanks for the welcome OHguy and menude2. I have not been to Sunshower. I have been to Paradise Gardens. I mostly go to The Cincinnati Athletic Club (CC). I enjoy weight lifting, physical activities and the outdoors (when it warm). I enjoy CAC - they have an entore floor a guy can be naked. On this floor the club has two apacious sauanas, steam room (its great), large whirlrpool, lap pool, showers, reclining chairs, lockers... . I get there weekly and spend two to three hours relaxing, reading, little bit of socializing and enjoying the warm water. My wife can not join me - it's an all male club, but she and I enjoy our outdoor hot tub.

So do I, and Alum cReek is one of them, but you have to be careful as to not be seen by the park rangers.

Anyone want info on some seclu8ded areas over around Newark in central Ohio, get ahold of me. I have lots of info and tons of pictures.

Thanks for the update. I checked out the site and there arent prices on thee. I dont know if that is good or bad. i will have to give them a call. I hate this cold weather. Hard to be nude when its 5 degrees!

CAC is curently running a special - $100 for three months. That's a little over $30 a month. Pretty good I think. You can get a "6 visits free pass' to try out the club before you make a decision.

Somethings that came to my mind so I wrote them down. Hee, hee

You know you’re a nudist when…

1) You hate to get out of bed in the morning because it means you need to put clothes on

2) You see a commercial depicting a beautiful ocean beech, waterfall etc and you say to yourself, “Awwwwe that would be a great place to be naked.”

3) You hang around the locker room just so you can be naked longer.

4) As soon as the kids go to bed you remove your clothes.

5) You look for opportunities to be naked inside and outside.

6) You purchase a hot tub so you have an excuse to be naked outside

7) You feel sad when you need to put clothes back on.

8) You feel good when you take your clothes off.

9) You don’t sexualize people when you, they or you and they are naked.

10) You can be naked and not be sexual.

11) ...

It's great. I was just there this past Friday evening for about 3 hours. Meet several guys - laughed, soaked in the whirlpool, lounged in the steam room, swam in the pool, relaxed in the sauna and cool down in the showers. It was refreshing to be a man among men. It's a great value for the price. Other amenities include: free tanning bed, lounge, restaurant, full size lockers, towel service...and the usual work out stuff (cardio', free weights and conditioning equipment) basketball, racquetball, golf..) and more. It satisfies my desire to relax, socialize, read, and play naked.

Its called Cincinnati Athletic Club. GREAT PLACE. They have many locations of reciprocity. Meaning you may have a membership at one place that they will accept. To partake of the facilities you must be a guest of a member. Although you can ask them for a 6 visit free pass to try out the gym.

Cubby - Welcome to the group. I think you will be surprised by the members on this board in the southern Ohio area. I have been to PG on Blue Rock road several times, as well as others on this board. Other areas include Sunshower near Richmond, IN and Drakes Ridge in IN. Refer to he AANR web site for information. Enjoy - the warm weather is coming.
