The "Shout Box" Does anyone else think its useless, not functionable, Wastes Space

Many of the expected features either do not work or are useless.

Waste of CFF's main, and post pages by 1/5th.

The time stamp means nothing with out D/M/yr.

X-Box Useless. Shout comes back when reopened.

Shout Abuses Forum by pulling out members to solicit for web caming, exchange of pic, files.

No record of posts, Shouts are in the Blind.

Shout looses CFF members following to other IM Clients where they can bypass TOS restrictions.

A very minor % of Forum users understand or Use

Reduces post & main page width without Function

No way of reducing window out of the way.

Purpose of Function of Log in or out?

Nothing on use, instructions, help, how to.

I have always thought that it was a waste of space because it doesn't seem to serve a useful purpose.

If it is deleted, it will allow the thread replies to move back up to a higher position on the page.

In the 20 hours since I requested everyone who uses the shout box to use it, so I could take a count, no one used it. My request was the last shout in 20 hours.That seems to be a fair indication of its use,Though I have used it occassionaly, because its there.

The forum home page sure does respond a lot faster now. The site is better without this feature.

I'd shout occasionally... seems every shout I saw in there, someone was going on about chat.

lol...Baron ..... just noticed it was gone too! Had not even noticed so guess I am not very observant......but then I didn't read it to begin with.
