Hello all. Just found and joined this board. If anyone is heading out to Oahu feel free to ask about directions to the only "nude" beach on the island.

Aloha

When we last visited Hawaii the only truly nude/clothing optional place we found was on Maui. There was a small private resort that was great! Oahu was still very conservative...please tell me its loosened up! We'd like to visit again and are hoping there really is a nude beach on Oahu.

On Oahu, despite all the beaches here, there really is only 1 safe nude beach. It is on the NW side of the island and gets fairly busy on the weekends. Not 1/2 as crowded as Little Beach on Maui though. Im attaching a photo of one area of the beach. As you can see the place is beautiful!

I will be heading to Kauai in October for two weeks on that one island. What are the nude opportunities there--beach or otherwise? Would like to spend as much time nude as possible.

To clarify, do you mean the Little Beach weddings are $1050, or weddings in general in Hawaii cost $1050?

We were in Hawaii February 2005 and are going to be in Oahu February 2006. We would really like to find out the directions to this nude beach. We look forward to hearing from you. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Aloha to us all...

Dang, I need to get over to the other side of the island more!!!!! Is there much interference from HPD? Where is that? I just might go there one of these days, if I can gain the courage. Usually go to Secret on Kaua'i when I need to let it all hang out, but one on this island would be great!!!!

Hello...

I am bumping this thread because I hope to go to the Oahu c/o beach this weekend (don't have work from tomorrow until the 26th), and want to go to this beach. I have no idea where it is though. Checked the map and can't find it anywhere. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I went to Polo Beach this morning. I had a wonderful time. The beach was somewhat deserted, so getting nude wasn't too difficult. I am so looking forward to going again. Perhaps it might be more crowded next time, and that might make me more self conscious, but the people there pretty much kept to themselves. I have mixed feelings about that. Part of me wants to interact with others and make friends. Part of me wants to enjoy the illusion of being the only one on the beach.

Will definitely go back again. Perhaps Monday if the weather is decent.

Mele Kalikimaka to you too. You from HI? Not too often that people from the mainland US know that phrase, let alone spell it correctly.

Your picture could very much be a local person too.

Christmas in Hawaii, man it must be nice! Tell us more about your grand day at the beach how'd it go? Or am I confusing you with another poster from the Aloha Isle? I've been to Hawaii twice but never made it to the nude beach at Makena or Little Beach. Anyhow merry Christmas to you and yours.

Aloha to you, NudeAl,

Christmas in Hawai'i... let's see... not really a white Christmas for most of the state, unless you are thinking about the white sandy beaches.

Speaking of beaches, I had a wonderful time at Polo Beach on O'ahu yesterday. I am still thinking about it. I plan to be back there on Monday since it is a day off for most people here. When I got there, there were very few people on the beach. The day was sunny as usual, and the water was relatively calm, considering that there was major surf on other parts of the island.

I found a somewhat secluded spot (still dealing with body image crap that I picked up as a young boy/man). I stripped and for a while, just relaxed on my towel. I finally found the courage to get away from the safety zone and walked to the water and played around in the water for a while. It was such a freeing experience to be out in PUBLIC and in the nude, even if there wasn't a huge crowd.

My biggest fears never came to pass on that day: I didn't get teased about my body image, and I didn't get an erection over the bodies that were there.

My biggest problem was wondering what to do because there were a couple of guys who were clothed that came right next to me. Should I get dressed or just let it go... I decided to just let it go.

My only regret is that I didn't get to make any friends. I know that there are some people that go to these places and try to "hook up" if you know what I mean. I do not have that interest; I just want to make some friends that share some of the same values that I have.

Perhaps as I go to the beach more often, I will see more people and get to experience for myself how wonderfully friendly the naturist community really is.

Been to only one other c/o beach in Hawai'i (Secret on Kaua'i), and was pretty much left alone there too.

Merry Christmas to you and yours as well.

I know what you mean. It is a bit of a challenge. Over time you may start to see the same folks there I think that is the key. Nothing wrong with saying hello nice to see you again etc. I have found that down by the water is a place many like to go to socialize. Just make a casual remark about how nice the water is or similar. If there is a volleyball game going you could see if they need another player, great way to break the ice. Over time you'll get to know who the regulars are and they will know you. Just make it a point to say hello to someone each time you go and eventually you will have quite a group. Goodluck

My b/f and I are in the process of making plans for a nude holiday, one week on Maui and one week on Hawaii. As soon as we can get everything put together.

We are so looking forward to sun, sand, and surf, in the nude with each other.
