Just a line to say how much I am enjoying this site. I just turned 21 and live in central Florida. Florida is great for nudists except in the evening when the biting inscets decide to come and feast on any exposed skin. Any others in my area feel free to contact me

Speak for yourself nudedude I just got back from the beach here in San Diego. It was a wonderful sunny day temp around 70 or so.

Welcome to the forum Shelly and PAnudist!
You both should look under the young naturist category in this forum and post a reply regarding younger nudists at clubs and resorts. Lot of older people posting their ideas and thoughts about why there aren't more young nudists at these places.
Your input could be something we are all wanting to know.

Yawn - we all know the reasons why there aren't more young people into getting nude etc. Do we really need to go over that one again??!!
Things will never change, no matter how many people here and elswhere keep banging on about getting more young people into it by preaching the virtues of naturism etc. People will find their own way, as and when, into going nude at various times and in various situations, if ever.
With age comes maturity - that's it.
(in my humble opinion!)

Opinions do stir debate - accepted, but it doesn't take a genius to realise why more young people don't like social nudity.
I just guess I find it amusing when people come on here and put the question forward, like it's some sort of deep mystery that only rigorous debate can fathom.
I say again - with age comes maturity. That's it. What more needs to be said???

I am looking for other Nudist male or female in the Deland Florida area that like to hang out, I love camping, fishing, going to the beach and i like to be in the nude. I come home and the cloths come off. about 40 hours a week I wear clothes. Just long anough to make it through the work day. I have been living the naturists life style for about 11 yearsbut mosely indoor. I am now exploring the out side activities but would like explore them with other people. Hello Shelly, and welcome to the site here. I do sincerely know what you mean about the biting insects coming out to bite after dark(mosquitos!). Although I currently reside in Southern California, I lived in Florida for two years. This included two hot and humid summer seasons! I was there because my father was in the Air Force and was stationed at Patrick AFB in Satellite Beach,Florida. This was from 1969-'71. Even though I was darn young,like 4,5, and 6years old, I have an incredible memory of the place. I went back there in the summer of 2000 to see how much the place has changed. Other than the base housing units we lived in are abandoned now, it still looks the same! Anyhow, I was obviously too young to have partaken in any nudist/naturist activites. And no one in my family was a nudist. I really hope you will enjoy the interactions and postings on this forum. Take care!

It is obviously safe to say that Shelly is no longer on ClothesFree and has not participated in any way, as was pointed out, for 5 years!
Oh brother! Isn't there anything else we can say to the occasional Forum visitor from Florida that is looking for timely, accurate and interesting nudist information? In "N" magazine issue 26.4 I have just been reading there is a very nice profile of Haulover Beach. Perhaps anyone in the Miami area wanting to learn more about the family and community-oriented aspects of All-American nudism should get that issue!
Florida apparently realizes the simple truths:
1. Tourists have money to spend!
2. Nudists can be tourists!
3. Tourists need someplace to go.
4. Florida has quite a few places to go, so what's the harm in having a naked one or two?
4. Therefore Tourism + Nudism = Adds color to the bottom line! (pun intended)
(hopefully the color is black ($$) not red! Err, dark tan I mean)
