This Forum is called..Meet New Friends with Pictures..Why am I the only one that has any Pictures or links to a picture? It could be a picture of something or anything. How about some type of picture. Maybe a web site or a picture of you house. Anything, but how about pictures? If you want to just talk about anything why not go to the Misc. Forum? I have absolutely no idea how to post photos since I'm just barely functional on a computer. I have no nude photos of myself and no way of getting any. I also have no recent photos of myself of any kind. My house is nothing anyone would want to see, or anything else I have. If the photos aren't of me, I see no reason to send them and ask one of the Administrators to post it for me.

We are often told that this website isn't a dating service, but what does "Meet New Friends with Photos" mean? Since this is not meant to be a dating service, it apparently is only meant to meet other naturists and chat online--nothing more. I would love to meet an unattached middle-aged nudist lady near me with whom to enjoy the naturist part of my life, but any dating service costs money that I haven't got. I tried one and cancelled after a month when I didn't get any takers. Of course, even in the 21st century, women are uncomfortable doing the contacting. That's always been a male thing--the man makes the first attempt. Personally, since I've always been shy about doing that, I would welcome a woman taking the initiative.

I think the main reason people aren't posting photos--besides the one I gave--is that they think they're supposed to post nude photos of themselves, and that's something most people don't want to do. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Jon_marc: The purpose of "Meet new friends with
photos" is of course for naturists to exhibit
naturist photos. This is a naturist bulletin
board. It's our common bond.
As for meeting someone, it's best to use the
private message function.
Really, the main reason we have this post is a
way for new naturists to join in the forum
and talk with others.
As for why most folks don't post their nude
photos I think you're right. Many either don't
know how to do it or don't feel right about
putting up photos of themselves on the web.
However, Corky tells me we're getting a lot of
responce from forum contributors to our main page
post asking for photos to be added to our
Photos of Freedom section.

Nobody has to post photos of themselves nude. Just post a photo of your face if you want! I am sure anyone can find a photo of themselves with clothes on. Please feel free to email or call us (559-683-2388) if you can't figure out how to attach a photo. Let's get this photo phobia conquered!

I think I'm in the majority with the answer I don't know how to post a picture. I'm also not much of a picture taker. I would first have to take some pictures and I'm assuming with a digital camera which I don't have. As soon as I'm up on technology I'll be happy to post pictures. /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Yea its a nice way to meet friends around the world. It also helps when you travel to know people in the country you are going to with local knowledge. So here is a picture of the town where I live.

Well, Corey, I tried, but I'm apparently not doing something right. I was able to get the full photo of me in as the avatar but not the head and shoulders photo, and the full photo is too small for anyone to what I look like to use that as the avatar. Maybe I'm typing something in wrong, or typing it in the wrong place.

I also can't understand how to submit the full photo here. I'm sorry to be such a bother, but I'm not very knowledgeable about computers. What little I know is self taught. /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Hi Cyndiann, Hope to finally meet you at the next meeting of TAN as soon as we find out when and where. What size photo did you start out with to get your Avatar? When I reduce the size of mine that small they get all messed up(not clear) I start out with a 640x480 pix. any suggestions. That is the only way to learn is by trying. One suggestion I would like to make if you don't mind is trying to use a little more Natural Sunlight when you take you pictures. Or brighter light.See Me (http://www.naturalandnude.com/Keith4.jpg) and I still am not happy with my photos. But they are getting better. I can't wait until I can get outdoors and get some Natural pictures in a natural setting.

Hi cyndiann. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I am talking about the one where you are in the water not the rainbow one. If you take a large picture and reduce it, it gets all blurred, but yours doesn't look like it is. and I was just wondering how you got the small picture. As for my Avartar I just took a graphic and reduced the size in paint shop pro and saved it with a different name. Then I uploaded it to my web space at Naturalandnude.com then I went into My Profile to the Avatars and down at the bottom of the page it says " Use Custom URL " and I typed in the name (http://www.naturalandnude.com/An296.gif) the An296.gif is the file name and http://www.naturalandnude.com is my web space or page address or URL, what ever you call it.
Then when you do a message or post or reply just click on the Instant UBB Code that you want to use such as URL, Email, Image, there are 10 of them. Type in your Address and preview it to see if it works. I forgot to tell you that you need a FTP program. Why do you ask anyway? How did you get your picture on the page? My Avatar, the Juggler is 54x84 Your rainbow is 80x80 total size of mine is smaller. but if you have a paint program you can change the size. Your Avatar can be bigger, but since it would take up more Bytes on their servers the want small ones.

With Corey's help and the help of a couple others in the forum, I managed to use my photo as my avatar. I noticed that it backtracked and changed the avatar on previous posts.

Yes, anything is easy to understand if you know what you're doing. Computers are easy to those who understand them, but I don't. I'm learning a little at a time, but I still get frustrated at my computer and at what little I know about it.
