Server slow again

The server seems to have slowed to a crawl again. It's taking between 20 seconds and 2 minutes to download pages even with a broadband connection.

Is this just a temporary issue?

Too many people were watching the new news show at the same time. We sent out 12,000 emails to our members letting them know about the new show and they all seemed to download it at the same time.

Next show, I will send the emails a small batch at a time.

We am going to get another server just for the news Jan. 1st. It should be fine now. Thanks!

Can't wait for the new server in January but what will I do with all the time I save? The "Post a Reply" page for this post took 3 minutes and 42 seconds to download using a broadband connection. Is this a record?
