At first I thought it was a bummer that they had to blur out the "offending parts" (reinforcing the shame aspect) but as she took off that invisible bikini, the blurring followed the bikini, not her body. I guess the message was that it was the "bikini" that was offensive, not what was underneath. Cool.

After watching it a few times I came to some conclusions. The woman subject they used gave a pretty wholesome message herself. They could have used some voluptous type you know with say, a very full figure, or they could have used a guy, or they could have used a woman a bit chubby. But by using a trim and pleasant looking woman, yet someone who was typically attractive, I saw that as very good because the message to the viewer was that even attractive young women can be looked upon with respect and dignity when completely nude on a public beach, without it creating a buzz. Of course, this is France. (now if that happened at Collins beach here in Portland she would gain a following I think) http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif But anyway I thought her appearance was very positive.

Just the reverse of what you'd see in an American ad........I love it!
