I have noticed some ads about downloads to "turn your computer into an extra TV". Has anyone done this? What is it like? Thanks

I've never really bothered with Internet TV because it's not good quality, and it can eat up your bandwidth. I have a TV tuner card for my PC instead, it allows me to pick up all free-to-air digital TV channels, which in the UK is around 35 channels now with more being added all the time.
