Haulover Beach is located three miles south of the Broward County Line in North Miami. Turn right on AIA at the end of 163rd Street. Drive 1 mile south to Haulover inlet.

Nathan, we are pleased to welcome you to the nudist world.

A suggestion: Cross posting (i.e. posting in more than one forum) is discouraged. You should decide which forum is the most appropriate and post only there.

I like Haulover beach.
There are Lifegaurds and Ambassadors from the local nudist clubs to keep things safe.
Restrooms are very close to the beach.
Refreshments are usually available right on the beach.

As long as we're at it, how about listing some other good beaches around florida where nudity is accepted and fairly safe. Those of us from other parts of the country don't want to risk arrest for being nude on the wrong beach. I don't like "isolated" beaches or places where you have to keep something handy to cover up if some patrol comes along.
I want to be able to relax and be nude no matter who walks by.
That is why I picked Haulover for my first time.

Well if you don't like isolated beaches then stick with Haulover. As a rule nude beaches are isolated as to be out of the way from those who want to fake being offended.

There is only one other nude beach in Florida that is legal and that is Apollo Beach in Canaveral National Seashore. You need to bring everything you will need and there are no lifeguards. You enter from just south of New Smyrna off A1A.

At the south end of the park is Playalinda Beach. Technically it is not legal there but it has seen nude use for over 50 years and there have been no arrests for mere nudity in several years. This entrance is just east of Titusville and runs along side the Space Center.

Haulover, Haulover, Haulover.

It is the BEST. Clean, Pretty, Safe, Convenient, Close, Legal, and Crowded.

Why is crowded good? Because you will quickly lose any embarassment when you are in this environment. It is so normal it is almost boring (NOT).

also, the beach is patrolled and has less instances of people being bothered by perverts. i don't know about the other florida beaches, but years ago, the nude beach in nantucket had too many "birdwatchers" with binoculars in the dunes for my taste, and several men that were way tooo forward (towards me, a guy) with their sexuality. this is why i like haulover. everyone seems to get along and no one bothers anyone else...
