View Full Version : Public Identification

In order to identify ourselves in a subtle non confronting way as lovers of the nude lifestyle to others in the public by the wearing of a silicone wrist band, what universal color or colors do you think we could use so as not to be confused with other (charity) groups but so that we would be readily identifiable to those who are likeminded?

Cheers

You know what....That is actually a really good idea!!

I wonder if we could get AANR, TNS, and INA to put something like that together.

All proceeds could go towards a good cause, possibly.

RE:""wearing of a silicone wrist band""

1) First I hear about SILICONE made bands, except for insulation of canalisation tubes, sorry indeed for be vulgar.

2) I never wear the wrist bands... so - what may choose likeminded people??

3) But generally idea is good. You should invent SOMETHING. Likewise a Freemassons wearing a ties with large round points in the ornament or handshaking in the very special way, one-finger~lessly?? Perhaps it can be a N letter on clothes like the firm simbols as used by Nike etc. Just the capital letter sewed in, by piercy threads??

4) Actually we allready have the "sign" - its on the flesh, the *** what is far not white, but somehow its not easy to see this sign through the robe.

YES , good idea . I would be interested and we could identify with our own more readily which I like .It would be a conversation piece "Whats the bracelet signify"than we tell them.

I rather like the idea of a clear bracelet. It seeems like most other colors are already taken for one thing or another.

Dude!! That was my secret idea.... I guess great minds think alike. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I've actually researched for the past 2 months some US and overseas companies that make them, priced it in bulk and talked with my brother (Fresh Air) about fronting the cash 50/50.

I guess we need to buy 1,000 at a time...the question is, if we made them, WOULD THEY SELL?? ....I think they would.

Clear bands are hard to read...so we were thinking "Orange". Nobody has claimed orange, and it's sort of a bold tropical-ish color.

I learned in my years that the best way to make something happen is to make it happen yourself, so I'd like AANR or INA to make their own wristbands, they have their trademarks, but I'm not going to wait....it's a good idea, apparently a shared wish and hopefully a reality within the next few weeks.

I'll keep everybody posted http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Somehow they need to go out to all naturists so we can recognize each other on the streets.

I'll take a couple

Sign me up, where can I buy!

Great way to break the ice to non-nudists!

Hey Doc,

PM me with any info on companies you have that make these bracelets. If someone needs to take the lead, I can do it if no one else is willing or able.

Does anyone know of all the colors that are currently being used by charitable org's?

and .....can someone that know's how, put a poll together with the choices of colors?

We vote for clear as well but I think a poll would work best.

AANR was using red string bracelets for nudist singles. We would hand them out at our singles gatherings. I don't know if they are still doing that. It was a year ago and they got a new Singles Chair since then.

How did it work? Do you think AANR and TNS might like the idea?

I mean they sell all kinds of other stuff with logos etc, right?

I think a uniform way of identifying nudists/naturists is long overdue. Think about it you pass some one on the street or in the store, you raise your hand for a friendly wave and then "hey...I am a nudist too"

Love it!!
