While responding to the poll, "What are You Listening To?" I came up with non-controversial question...

Are there any musicians out there?

I have played guitar for years, not that much recently and I have forgotten more than I remember how to play, but I still pluck out a few songs.

I play a bit of guitar myself. Acoustic Alchemy tunes are my current hobby.

Dabble a bit.

Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Drums and Vocals.

Unfortunately none of them well though. Just well enough to entertain myself http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif

Drums, some keyboards. I know more about how a synthesizer works than how to actually play it great...

Have been playing guitar for 40 years. (Still learning.) Recently I started to learn the fiddle (violin to some, fiddle to a few)

I sold my guitar a few years ago to make the mortgage payment. But I do still sing in the shower, and I live with a horn player...the next best thing...

Yep, I play a clarinet in the Hamilton Concert Band. (Ontario, Canada.)
I also play the piano a bit at home!? (I think I sound pretty good, after a couple of beers!)

This is getting interesting (and we managed to pull this off without social/political mudslinging!).

For the record, I play sveral instruments, but my primary instruments are: electric bass, harmonica (diatonic and chromatic), guitar, concertina and upright bass.

Some of the other instruments that I play (but at lesser skill levels) include: piano, accordion and mandolin.

My experience includes performing with various bands. I've been playing for over 35 years, but still learning.

I can read music (standard music as well as tablature) and play by ear.

I play the guitar, and have served as musical director for the AANR East Youth Camp the last several years. Here's a song I wrote last summer that the kids had fun with. The hand gestures spelling out AANR were interesting, especially the N and the R. LOL

to the tune of "YMCA"
