Nudist Resorts Offer Unique Experiences
A little secret. Experienced nudist travelers know that every nudist resort is different. Each destination has its own character, culture and charm and the variety keeps nudist travel fun.
Here's some unique features of popular destinations:
· California's Desert Shadows Inn has a nude pedestrian bridge called the 'Bridge of Thighs' that goes over a public road and connects two sections of the resort.
· Avalon in West Virginia has a four seasons indoor aquatic health and fitness center with a heated pool, two spas, and a sauna. This makes for a unique winter weekend getaway for anyone in the Washington, D.C. area.
· Members at Paradise Lakes Resort near Tampa, Florida formed the world's first nudist Lions Club and have raised tens of thousands of dollars to help those in need.
· Also near Tampa, Caliente Resort offers Chinese Aerobics classes, Yoga classes and meditation sessions. For the football fan, Caliente's sports bar is packed on Sundays while NFL games play on the big screen TVs.
· At the rustic and remote Berkshire Vista, visitors view the surrounding Berkshires, a tree-covered mountain range in western Massachusetts, while swimming in the large pool or sitting in one of the two whirlpools.
· Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee, Florida is host to the American Nudist Research Library – probably the world's largest nudist literature collection with books, magazines and nudist lifestyle movies.
There are many, many more destinations throughout the United States and more abroad. Try one out.

I used to live in MA. and highly recommend Berkshire Vista in late June.
Cypress is a GREAT, true nudist resort and Paradise Lakes has some cool events and always draws a great crowd to support the Lions Club.
Caliente's a little more $ but a fantastic vacation resort.
We haven't been out west yet but hope to soon.

My favored is Cypress Cove. A true quiet resort.

Cypress Cove is one of the best, in my opinion. But Laguna Del Sol near Sacramento, is also right up at the top.
I certainly haven't been to all the resorts in the U.S., but the ones I've been to have a great variety of character to each one of them. I've also never been disappointed at any of them.

I have always enjoyed been able to go naked 24/7 at naturist resorts, tried couple in UK, Eureka and Weekend at Alton Towers, Cap d'Agde, Charco del Palo and Monsena in Europe.

We've only visited a few resorts. Cypress Cove is DEFINITELY our favorite. We do hope to visit more soon. Has anyone else visited a German FKK Schwimmbad? That was my first true nudist experience and I would sure like to go again sometime.

I absolutely loved Cypress Cove, but I've been there only once. Lake Como was nice too. Other than that, I've been to Laguna Del Sol, Lupin, Sequoians and Harbin Hot Springs here in California (fortunately, all are within about 100 miles and quite accessible, but Harbin's the closest). About the only thing they have in common is nudity, but otherwise, all have been different yet very enjoyable experiences.

My girlfriend and I have been to;
Ponderosa Sun Club
Turtle Lake
Chicago Sun Club
Desert Shadows Inn
Terra Cotta Inn
Paradise Gardens
Avalon
Mazo Beach
Each is unique. All were great in there own way. And when we travel, we'll always look for new naturists resorts to enjoy.
Hope to get to Florida this next year.

I agree about late June being good to visit Berkshire Vista. The weather is usually just right. I've been to Berkshire Vista several times and like the laid-back atmosphere, the sizable and deep pool and the open space and it never seems crowded.
I haven't tried Cypress Cove yet, but it is on the list. Being a short drive from Orlando airport makes it a cheap flight from just about anywhere in the US.
The good thing about all of the variety is that there is something for everyone. There are nudist resorts that are quiet, back-to-nature getaways. There are others with lots of activities. Some are rustic, some are fancy. And there's a whole lot in between.

June is good at Berkshire Vista, but I like it a little warmer, so July and August work for me there. If you get lucky and get a warm day in September, the foliage there can be spectacular.

Not all resorts are the same. The basic venue is but then the facilities differ, the dimeanor of the staff differ, the people differ and on and on. Just have to find the one that fits you best.

I love Cap d'Agde and Domaine de Belezy in France, even though they are completely diferent, I love Studland Bay in Dorset and Eastney Beach here in Portsmouth for their own special qualities and I love the clothing optional laissez-faire of Fuerteventura. Each is perfect in its own way and I am quite pleased that I can choose.
