Hey Everybody -

Here's you some weekend fun! If you haven't been introduced to Loxie & Zoot and the Koala Bares, here's your chance to get to know them.

The Koala Bares is a comic strip by Stephen Crowley, about the adventures of the members of a nudist club in Australia. I have the book, and it is great!!! Biught it for friends weddings and such, and they also loved it.

I like it because the charachters portray a very positive side of nudism, and really project the community feeling.

Here is a link to the first installment below, but you can also follow the whole story at http://www.loxieandzoot.com. Click on "Archives".

Have a great, sunny weekend to you all!

Seconded. It's a very good comic. Stephen has posted on these here forums, by the way.

It's just a plain good comic nude or not.

Why not make a direct comparison? Magellan Justice Academy (http://magellan.keenspace.com/) is Stephen's non-nude project, a superhero adventure comic.

I have been following Loxie & Zoot for about a year or 2 and i just love'em. When i first found out about them i though that they might be kinda boring and have slow stories and such, but i was drawn in immediately buy the characters and actually find the stories interesting and very entertaining.

I can see why you'd think that. Most comics/cartoons to do with nudism are very bad indeed! Mind you, this thread (http://www.talkaboutcomics.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=31381) listed one website (http://www.chez.com/tiburce/index1.html) that had some comics on it I'd very much like to read. (Warning: the site itself is a bit of an eyesore)

Here's an episode from El Goonish Shive (http://www.egscomics.com/d/20051010.html) that sort of shows nudist attitudes in one character (who is, I should add, a classic ingenue). "Zapped" in this context means "zapped with a transgender gun" which is how the young'uns have fun at parties these days.
