The town in Denmark that our tame textile, Stu2630 frequently visits, and hopes to emigrate to has an annual naked run, now you can all see what Stu has in store (At least I think its the same town!).

The video (http://jp.dk/webtv/?movieId=12542&Id=1001806)

More info (http://tinyurl.com/32s3mx )

Perhaps Stu can confirm the location.

The town you are referring to is Roskilde. That's where my job will be, starting August next year, but I won't be living there: we're buying a house about 35 miles to the south of that city.

As for the naked run, my understanding is that it takes place on a farm, well away from the city and residential areas, so it won't bother me.

If that's what they enjoy doing - brilliant! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/applause.gif I have no problem with that whatsoever because they have every right to have their fun and I won't have to see it.

Stu, I don't think you have to worry at all about nudists "invading" your world since you are mainstream. Most of the world is mainstream so I find it humorous you sit on a nudist forum as if those of us who enjoy, practice and promote the lifestyle are some sort of threat to your closed-to-any-anti-naked-body being near you. It is not likely to happen in your lifetime that you will be "spoiled" or made uncomfortable by nudists.

Oh, I forgot, you will always have the enjoyment of associating nudity with sexual pleasure and intimacy. You have nothing to worry from those of us who are nudists.

Thanks. I'll sleep better tonight for knowing that. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/eusa_dance.gif

Actually, I think you're right. I think nudism will continue, but it will be very much a minority passtime for the remainder of my life, and possibly my kids' lives, too. And that's not a bad thing - even for nudists.

Here is more info from a contributor to a usenet group:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> It's part of the Roskilde Rock Festival which is, I think, the second
biggest rock festival in Europe after Glastonbury. The naked race is
an annual event and the winners - one male and one female - get free
tickets for next year's festival.

>A well known gymnophobe who frequents naturist fora is planning to live
>near this town, he was totally unaware that he was landing in a
>hornets nest.

LOL. Is he still around?

Actually there's a couple of good naturist venues near to Roskilde not
to mention a nudist swimming pool - perhaps you should let him know. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

You couldn't have picked a better place Stu, it looks like a naturists paradise with all that nudity happening around!!

Yea, your right Stu, looks lke the run takes place in a secluded farm. But it does look like everyone in attendance had a great time. Thanks for the video Pete. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/smoking.gif
