Hey! new to the board, first post in fact. Just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading everything you all have to say. I read all of this and it never fails, someone makes me laugh, someone makes me think, and yet another makes me wonder.I consider it a priviledge to have a forum like this and listen to all the different veiws and opinions. I look forward to getting involved in some of the conversations that are happening right here, around the world.I have enjoyed being nude as long as I can remember, and it was not until recently that I realized that countless people felt the same. I consider myself very lucky that my wife of 14 years, and my children feel the same way. Anyway, I feel like I know some of you already by reading so many of your posts, and look forward to many more.

Also to the operators of this site: WELL DONE keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Hi ercNY,

I'm a 56-year-old dad of two and granddad of four. I've only been into social nudity for less than two years.

I love being nude and hate wearing clothes. I don't post as much as I used to since some people don't like to read some things I have to say.

I'm glad your family enjoys nudity with you. You didn't say if you're just a home nudist or if you've enjoyed social nudity. Is there any place near you where you can do that? /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

If people liking what you have to say were the criteria for posting things, no one would ever post anything. When the Declaration of Independence was written let me assure you there were a lot of people, including many in what now the USA, who objected to it. That did not deter those who risked their lives from writing it nor should it keep you or anyone from posting what you think. I have read a lot of things on these boards I agreed with and several things I did not agree with but that does not keep me from posting what I think. I do not think knowing some may disagree should keep you or anyone from posting to our boards. I, for one, have learned things and had to think about some beliefs I have because of what someone wrote.

Jon-Marc in my initial post I said "I feel like I know some of you by reading so many of your posts, and look forward to many more." If I was to list all of those people that I was talking about, I assure you, you would have been on that list...From what I gather reading the posts for the past couple of months, there are many people out there that are glad you are here. Do not let the minority spoil it for you. If they do not like what you write they can simply scroll right on by. To answer your question, we have enjoyed social nudity a couple of times, and look forward to getting out there this summer. There are a couple resorts very close by that we hope to go to,also a non-landed club in the area. Thanks for your reply.

Frank-R Well said.

As a Christian it's difficult to know where to draw the line on what to say and what not to say. I know there are other Christians here because I've gotten some very favorable replies from them, and I greatly appreciate the encouragement I've gotten from various people.

I've never been one to try to force my beliefs on anyone. I don't go around preaching at people. Actually, I'm very shy around people as far as saying much of anything. I'm not much of a conversationalist, but I can write my thoughts pretty well. I guess the anonymity here gives one more boldness in saying things we wouldn't say elsewhere. I know it does with me.

I often envy people their boldness in saying whatever they want at any time. Of course, the Bible says, "Speak the truth in love." Too often the truth, or what we perceive as the truth, is spoken with the intent of hurting someone. I try not to hurt anyone, but the truth does hurt sometimes. It hurts less coming from someone you know cares about you and isn't just trying to tear you down.

I can't help but reply to someone who says something with which I disagree--particularly when it applies to my Christian beliefs. That is the only part of my life that is not negotiable. Everything else is. I don't like arguing with anyone about anything. I grew up on conflict--to put it mildly--and avoid it whenever possible. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

John-Marc-I have never read anything from you that I would consider hurtful. Most posts I have read are from people just trying to get their point across, I do not think people, in general, intend to hurt others, but it does happen. We just need to make sure that we feel good about ourselves, and care for the people that care for us.As far as the rest they are entitled to their opinion. Accept it,think about it, and don't dwell on it.

First, let me welcome you, ercNY, to the INA forums. You indeed are lucky to have a wife and children who find the naked body unthreatening and enjoy being without clothes, just like you. Have you ever been to a nude beach or a nudist park? And if you don't mind my asking, how old are your kids?

Jon-Marc, whenever you want to put in your 2 cents, please do so. Do you think I care what others think about what I write? I take care not to be offensive to anyone, but instead simply give my opinion. I have given more than my 2 cents on many topics.

Bob S.Glad to hear from you. Thanks for the welcome. I have not yet been to a park or beach(well not one with anyone on it)I have been to a get together at a pool, with a local non-landed group. I also have had nude weekend getaways with freinds and family, other than that pretty much just at home. I hope to get to a couple parks this summer. My wife and I would love to get away for a few days!!
I have a 9 yr old son,7 year old daughter, and another son under a year.
Again, Bob thanks for the welcome.
