Guess I will consider myself fortunate. I am a member of Laguna Del Sol in Sacramento and I live close enough to take advantage of the indoor pool and the weight room. Some days has been warm enough for a walk around the lake

I live in Florida so our winter is but a short time.
And for those of you who think I'm gloating, you're right. Other than the weather, we don't have much in Florida to gloat about so we do so whenever we can.

Wish I could live in the opposite hemisphere for 6 months /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
Sit and shiver, go soak in the hot tub, and come back to my trailer and sit and shiver some more. Sigh!! Is it Spring yet?
If you're retired, Bali is cheap, if you do it right.
Always warm to hot.
A bit cooler in the mountains, if you want a break.
Wonderful, friendly, tolerant people.
No language problems, for English-speaking people.
Indonesian is possibly the easiest language on earth to start learning. Same alphabet as us. Mainly spoken phonetically, with a few simple rules. No articles, no verb tenses. No "masculine, feminine, neuter" words. A few "key" words, which link up with other words to convey a whole range of meanings.
Happy people who want to talk with visitors, whilst you're learning Indonesian, they're learning more English.
To many Australians, Bali is our "home-from-home, just up the road".

Go to work, come home. Get nude, log on this website. Log off this website, go to bed. Repeat cycle.... Unless there was snow overnight. Then it is Get out of bed, put on jeans and jacket and boots, go out and shovel snow, then repeat cycle.
Can you say 'cabin fever?' /infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Steve61269,
Out here in Phoenix the weather has been mild compared to the north and eastern states, 40's - 60's. Really shouldn't complain. Several storm fronts have pasted through and dropped rain and the temperture (not nude friendly) So for now I just look out the window at my pool and wait till the weather gets warmer. Ah love the summer.
Paulie
You guys are all lucky - at least u get a nice summer - being from england we get the odd week of sun in July and pushing it maybe one in august the other 50 weeks its just "grey".
Im applying for my visa to move to Australia as soon as I finish university. Get Me Out Of Here.
We're having a "heat wave" here. It's nearly 50 degrees F, and it's supposed to be in the low 50's Monday!
I've got a new computer too, and my computer problems are gone--for now. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hey Jon-Marc ...I'm happy to see that your dreams are coming true.
If you can, share some photos of your new surroundings, and let us know what it is like there. (for those that have never been)
I am very happy for you and hope all is well!
cheers...ercNY /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
I would love to share some photos with you , but I don't know how. I have no idea how people post photos in here. /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
