Outdoorbare buddy.. glad you noticed. I am often mistaken for being Mom to my Gandchildren. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Now if you ask my kids, they'll tell you I'm older than dirt! nudeM will tell you the same thing. But he says lots of things after a few "snail killers". /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif I am actually only 22, just like my daughter!
Now to get back on/off topic. I do have quite a few antiques. My voices for instance, I believe they helped when the earth was cooling....
Is there something about my avatar that you don't like? I can change it, just not like the Fish Man! /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Stay cool OBare!

While not exactly "Auntie-Q" I have owned 14 Corvairs (at one point 6 at one time)over the years. And the only differance between a big kid and a little kid on the subject of Lionel (or any model trains for that matter) is the big kid can afford it.

Mary Etta, (my "other"),has 450 or so pigs. Piggy banks, pig dolls, pig slippers, pig pictures, pig pitchers, etcetera, and so on. About the only kind of pig she doesn't have is the kind that breath and need to be slopped every so often.
The Pig, if I am not mis-taken
Supplies us with sausage, ham and bacon.
Let others say his heart is big,
I call it stupid of the pig.

Did you here about the guy who, when his wife reached 40 years young, threatened to trade her in for two 20-year-olds?

She replied it wouldn't work, he wasn't wired for 220. . . /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I'll bet my wife would like to trade me for 2 thirtyone year olds /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif ..I' d blow a fuse for sure with 220 /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm a lifelong fan of trains too, both models and real ones, especially steam.

OdieB... Since you started this thread, you can post on/off topic anytime you want, unless you object. If you do object to your own posts you've got more than snail problems! /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif (The voices of hw)

I collect jokes...big surprise there? /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Feathered animals evolved from reptiles, most reptiles lay eggs. So, the egg must have come before the chicken. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

fred 950 - while growing up, my mom drove a corvair and she still has it though she does not drive anymore (thank god she stopped driving, she is too nervous). its a 1962 (i think), two door with more rust than steal (except in the back due to the oil leaks). my dad also has a beach buggy with a turbo corvair engine. but i will stop before i bore everyone else.

hw - i love your cat avatar, we just got two kittens for the kids. i have had cats in my life for all but four years of my life, i love cats.

naked dan - what kind of drawing do you like to do? my 9 yr. old has just recently gotten the drawing bug and he is learning quickly making crazy comics.

see we all do have something in common with someone else.... /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

florida-david and Naked Dan.... you two sure do have something in common... you look exactly alike on your avatars! /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif I like my avatar too, fd, it goes so well with Fish! /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif What are you saying here? You lllliiikkkeee me? /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif Or was that just the voices making you say that?

yes hw, i do like you, ok there i said it (don't tell your hubby)...

actually, i used to have this avatar, and than i tried to get a picture in the avatar, after that failed miserably, than i had no avatar for a while, and seeing naked dan's avatar reminded me of my old avatar, so i put it back. wow, i think this is off topic?!?

Florida-david...The topic of this off topic fun stuff is Interests..so you are truly off topic ..which makes it on topic...Hmmmmm /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Naked Dan, what do you like to draw? I used to like to draw. But about the only thing I can draw is my breath, and sometimes water from a well.

Also, what do you like to stuff? /infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Anybody else like to play pool? I hope there's a table in hw's RV, preferably very near the keg.

Missouriboy...maybe NakedDan likes to stuff envelopes, pillows with fiber-fill, or just sticks and stuff. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Mb...you are really off topic with the rv remark. That should have been on Dream Vacation thread. But since you asked, yes there is a pool table, near the keg, with all the sticks and balls you can handle! /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif There might even be a few batons for relay races. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

naked dan - as an architect, i like to draw as well, but truthfully, i suck at free hand stuff. i draw freehand only to express to people what i envision in my head. when i first starting drawing in architecture class in high school, i found great joy in parallel bars, triangles, compasses, etc., now that sort of rigid drawing is right up my alley. so i guess i would like to poke my nose further into your statement that you like to draw. what kind of drawing??? enlighten us....

Odie, I know this is a really old post but I found the words to describe my #1 interest.
"Objet trouve'", finding things such as driftwood and turning it into something aesthetic and beautiful. Just ask Stevenf64, Suntied and Shaybare. I love anything having to do with Native American Culture. /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I think you posted some of your drawings one time. Which, BTW, were really cool! /infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Now when you say, "I've made..... walking sticks out of old unique twisted dead Manzanita twigs", does that mean the twigs are really big, or the walking sticks are for really short people? /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
