okay, tonight I saw the Dove pro-age commercial on t.v., through clever t.v. angles and having people walk between the camera and the subject as blankets or towels were removed from the individuals it was not even possible to see if it was a person or a piece of stone being uncovered at any particular time. Once again, and I'm not surprised, the FCC has again made sure no one in America finds out we were all created the same. Perhaps the gov't should take the draery material that was used during Ashcrofts term to cover the "Liberty" statues and use them to BLINDFOLD the Statue of Liberty. Sorry for the rant, just getting fed up with the over-regulation we are being fed.

actually, i thought covering them up was part of the whole point of the commercial. i thought it was a ploy to get you to visit their website.

I really hate commercials anyway. Just far too m any in the first place and then the same ones are played so frequently we get strangled. Geico is a prefect example of overdoing itto the extreme.

Okay, I didn't see the commercial on tv so I can't relate differences to the one online that I viewed after reading this thread.
I think the one on line should be fine for public viewing -- yes, even here in the good-old-so-uptight-and-scrunched-we-can-taste-our-own-feces U.S.A.
The women were all naked but they were all in poses like many hollywood stars have been in in many magazines. I.e. - you can't see anything you wouldn't at a "textile" beach.
As a matter of fact, in the commercials for (I think it's) Blue Fly(?) I've seen a woman naked from the back and I think I was actually able to see the very top of her rear end -- the beginning of but crack. Hey, for the U.S. that's pretty big.

Anyway... I'm not one much for reading long posts so I think I'll quiet down now.
