I know about Sauvies Island, But I was wondering if there are any good beaches south of Newport, Oregon? Does anyone have any suggestions here?

Don't know about south, there is one up north- Rooster Rock. I've never to a nude beach before, wish I could though.

As far as I know no.

You might check out the Oregon Dunes. If you have a off road veh i.e. dune buggy you might be able to find a remote stretch and make it a nude beach. I still think you should go check out Willametans just north of Eugene. I have been there it is a wonderful place very scenic very friendly and tons of fun stuff to do they do appear to cater to families with children though we stayed there on a weekday and didn't see that many though I have been told that there are a number that show up on the weekends. Check out their website for pics and more info then give them a phone call I bet you'll love it. I know my family did we had to pry my grand-daughter out of the pool she loved it! good luck

Another thought, you might want to get a guide book to hotsprings. Many of them are clothing optional. I know I used to go to one that was on the way to Crater Lake just west of the town of Oakridge on hwy 58 I think. I know my brother used to go to many nude or clothing optional hotsprings they are more plentiful that nude beaches in Oregon.

There are a couple of places that I have seen on another website (now defunct) that were used for nude bathing but not an official site. Seems they were in the area of the 3 Capes or something like that on the N central coast area.

go to http://www.ORCOBA.com, they have been working with the rangers and sherrif dept on Collins beach to protect the nudists and keep the undesirables from bothering anyone. Many of us here in the Pac. NW are aware of the Oregon beach situation.
