Tonight, on Palm Springs local TV channel 3 ran a segement about CFTV filming a documentary at Desert Shadows Resort. In the lead-in and 2 or 3 times during the broadcast, they showed a preview of the segment in which a lady was facing away from the camera and her right breast and nipple were clearly visable on the screen. It appeared it was one of their lead stories, but after about 3 of the promo's nothing more was mentioned until the very end of the news program, where they apologized for "showing more than they should" and stated they wanted to review the segment before airing it to make sure there were no more mistakes. The segment on the CFTV documentary was great, and great exposure for naturism in general. Did anybody else catch the broadcast?

Sounds like a costly mistake and admission to me.

FCC just upped the violation to a half million dollars since the Janet Jackson incident.

Anybody want to buy a TV station for .5 mil?

Seriously, I'm sure our local newspaper (who just loves to blow these things way out of proportion) will be full of comments. It was probably an honest mistake, unless you really looked it wasn't that obvious, but none the less, your right, it could be an expensive mistake.

Here is some more information on that documentary:

"Naked in America" (Feature Documentary)
Directed by Corey Mangold
Naked in America will document the experiences of several American COUPLES for a week at a luxury nudist resort. The catch? For some of the couples, it’s their first time at a nudist resort!

By capturing the reactions of these average Americans to this taboo-defying environment, we’ll examine the American attitudes towards the naked human form.

The couples will also compete—through a series of fun, funny, and challenging reality-based activities—for a variety of prizes. These activities will be designed to reveal the participants’ attitudes about their bodies, as well as to showcase the exotic beauty of the location.

I was there over the weekend and it was a little cold but filming went good.

Watch the next ClothesFree TV online in a day or two. I am editing it right now.

Corkey, the news story was very tastefully done, and am looking forward to the next CFTV show. Were you in the area and did you catch the news segement (and the promo mistake)?
