I like being nude in the house, but this freaked out my last girlfriend because she'd come home and I'd be walking around nude and she swore I was with another woman. It was embarrasing. I figure I need to find a woman who can relate, but I'm not real comfortable being seen naked in public because I'd be walking around *ahem* you know, I'm a guy. Thanks for your help.

Actually most people find that doesn't happen when they're in a naturist setting. If it does, wear a towel or go in the water until it goes away.
Just taking a guess here, but it sounds as though a couple of things may have happened: 1) you weren't real sensitive to your girlfriend's feelings; and 2) you may have been uncomfortable yourself with being nude in a non-sexual way, and your discomfort fed into hers.
Start over by going to a nude beach or resort, and keep going until you are comfortable. Then it will be easier for you introduce the concept to the next girlfriend.

I don't have any experience in going to resorts and such but from what I understand and have read here and in other forums you probably won't have much luck in finding a gf in those locations. Perhaps some others who do have some experience can comment on that.

although my wife never gave me any problems about me being nude in the home (except when our grown daughter who chose not to see dad nude)i welcomed her to view some of the nudist web sites i go on. i assured her nothing sexual went on. later we had the opportunity to visit a resort, clothing optional for her,and she could see first hand about the enjoyment of the nude lifestyle. when we joined aanr we sat down together and read the bulletin. this eased her mind a lot. having an open mind helps too.

If this was her reaction, well, may be she was doing something wrong.

Good point. People generally expect others to behave as they do. People use their own behavior as standard. If the GF assumes that bassgit is with another woman it is a strong indication that she has been with another man. She is assuming that he will act the same as she would be or is acting.
In contrast, a person who doesn't have affairs assumes that their partner doesn't. People expcet others to act like they act.

I have been nude with several women by ourselves many times in other than sexual activity. I have been erect at times and that was not a problem. In time it would subside and things went on as if we had clothes on.
Erections are not anything to be ashamed of. THey are natural and is part of being a male. Be thankful you can have one!
I have no problem seeing other males with semi or more full erections but that is not a problem in most social environments.
