I was definatly a Tom Boy and can still be one today. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif I climbed trees, played sports, went on to work as a logger for three years, and ride a motorcycle.

I voted full blown Tom Boy.
I grew up in the garage and helping my father do all his chores. I did not learn to cook until I married ercNY. He had such patience with me....actually he taught me how to cook. I played all the sports and was better than most of the guys in my neighborhood (yes, I was very competitive). I could do everything my brothers could do, but I always had to outdo them. I was even a Boy Scout (Explorer Post), Girl Scouts seemed so girly.
I still like doing all those things, but now as a mom, I need to let my kids win once in a while http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/tongue.gif

I am still a bit of a Tom Boy, but can dress up and be a lady when needed.

My wife is definitely a girly girl. Her mother raised her & her sisters to be very feminine & her father, while he's quite masculine, isn't very athletic or handy with tools. About the only athletic thing she learned to do was ride a bicycle (which, strangely enough, is about the only athletic thing I never learned to do).

My six year old daughter is in between, just like my sister. We take a martial arts class together and she was in t-ball this year. She will also run around the apt. in her "Jasmine" princess costume from last halloween. Since what is thought of as "masculine" and "feminine" are completely arbitrary anywasys I'm glad she's not limiting herself.

http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/cool4.gif My wife was definately "prim & Proper" Until she met me. I think, and she agrees, that I've opened the doors to a new outlook on life for her......as she has for me. We really compliment each other when it come to tastes and faults.
She's better at some things and I'm better at others. She's better educated, while I have more common sense.

The Prof is a girly girl. Not much into sports. She'll camp but would rather not hike. She loves boating but won't ski, although she did try it.

She was raised Catholic by some pretty strict parents. I began corrupting her at the ripe ol' age of 16! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/wink3.gif

She's pretty well corrupted now. A self proclaimed, card carrying, dues paying, life loving nudist woman that, although being a girly girl, still will hang in there with me even though she may not care for the activity.

She had to be begged and dragged into this but is now very grateful that I did what I did.
