Yesterday, September 4, at Angel Falls, on Willow Creek, near Bass Lake, Ca, my favorite nude hangout, about four us were hanging out, two females and two males. About 3PM nearly 40 non nudists, including many children, came and started shouting at us, throwing rocks and water ballons at us! It was a planned, concerted effort to stop the nudity!

We called the local Sheriff, who has a substation only a quarter mile away. While we never saw a deputy, a supporter of nudity did say that he saw a patrol car in the parking area.

I called Corky, of INA, who lives a couple of miles away, he was able to come up, with camera in hand, but by the time he was able dismiss his obilgations at home, the instigators had left! (they knew we had called the cops!)

Well today, we are going back in force. If you can come join us. We are planning a free bar-b-q! We need numbers! There will be enough chicken and tri-tip for a least 20 people! Bring your own drinks!

I hope that you get 500 nudists to go to the barbeque today. If I was closer I certainly would go for support. Good luck and I hope that you do get enough nudists to go. There is always safety in numbers. I hope that you won't let the sheriff department get out of this one. It is their responsibility to keep all citizens safe and you might need to keep reminding them of that.

If it's a legally nude area, they have no right to protest. You have the right to be protected from them. If they don't like the nudity, they have the right to stay away.

That's very disheartening. I can't believe people would throw rocks at other people for simply being in their natural state. This really proves who the mature party was and wasn't.

It's actions like this that teach children to go against their natural inclinations about being naked and replace it with the message that nudism is wrong.

Perhaps a few people should hide in the parking lot and while these a$$holes are doing their rock thing, let the air out of their car tires. Better yet, carry a pair of pliers and just pull the valve stems out.

Thanks for all of your support! While the turnout was low, about 10 naturists showed up, the food and company was great. Sorry we missed you. We had no problems at all!

Willow Creek area is an established nudist area since the 60's. The local Sheriff's office's policy is to tolerate the free enjoyment of the area, and will only intervene when a specific complaint is lodged. Just being nude is not specific enough! We were surprised that they did not come to our "rescue" Sunday, but perhaps the deputy that responded in the parking lot felt it was too formindable of a walk uphill to us! (of course Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest periods for them)

Corky was able to join us, did a little interview, enjoyed some food and comardrie also. Thanks, Corky for coming. (hey, I even tried to set him up with young lady who showed some interest...who knows what might become of my match making efforts.

We will continue to go to Willow Creek/Angel Falls, clothesfree!

All of the above are true. My goal is to cast them money so they won't return! If no one sees you, no one is going to know who did the deed!

As a resident of the Bass Lake Area, I am very sad to hear about this incident. http://clothesfreeforums.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif I hope our local law enforcement will do a better job patroling this area and acting on complaints.
