Where do the camps stand this year? Are we going to witness the same political upheaval of a year ago?
I don't think we will here in Florida. It's old news now.

Somehow I seem to have missed the final outcome in FL. Can someone fill me in?
Sure!
A group of politically active nudists and nudist organizations met with Foley (AANR didn't attend although they were invited) and showed him the facts. He changed his website and backed off the whole issue.
The politician (can't remember his name) that said he was going to introduce some state level legislation about nude summercamps eventually dropped the matter too after some of those same nudist organizations explained the whole matter to them.
Who was responsible for the education? South Fla Free Beaches, NAC, members from Lake Como that were at the camp along with their grandmother, members from Sunsport Gardens, and some others.
I even got to play a little part in it by submitting an article done by the Weekly Planet that took an in depth look at the camp and gave it an impartial but positive thumbs up.
It was definitely a state wide community effort (except for AANR). FANR didn't participate in the Foley meeting but with just cause. FANR's president was at the side of her husband while on his deathbed.
