My question is due to the video of Bates beach. I.N.A. says It is trying to help Renstate the nude use of Bates in Santa Barbara and Ventura county lines. How does a person or group get a beach Back.
once it is lost. I feel the longer it has been the harder it will be to get back. /infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

A similar article told about Rio reinstating their nude beach after 9 years. It was lost due to a single person's influence. I know, that was in South America, but aren't political animals about the same everywhere? So, perhaps you have to: 1) identify the responsible negative party(s), 2) succeed in "adjusting their attitude" /infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif , or 3) wait until they're out of office. The amount of time this takes could vary widely in each case.

Does anyone know of any prospects for bringing back Navarre Beach in Florida?

There is not any way that Navarre beach can be used. I tried to get it changed by the Air Force, and found that the Navy and Marines will be using that land for amphibious training since the facilities in PR is no longer used. It would have been great for my non-landed group. But we are looking now to lease some land for camping and such.

Randy

In the case of Bates Beach, aka Rincon Beach, you'd probably need to rewrite the county's nudity ordinance (over the likely objection of the local woman who is the source of most of the complaints). It's a political issue to be brought before the county board of supervisors.
